PE has six main areas of activity: Games, Gymnastics, Dance, Athletics, Swimming and Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA).
Children participate in two hours of high quality Physical Education each week. It is our aim to develop children's confidence in a range of different activities and provide them with opportunities to experience being a player, coach and umpire.
Here at Marlborough, we want to enable a new generation of active pupils, leading physically fit and healthy lives. We believe that physical activity should be a fun and integral part of the lives of our pupils. Through enabling pupils to be active, we’re enhancing their quality of life, by helping to ensure that they remain healthy and happy as they develop into the adults of the future. Our aim is to develop the very best start to our pupils’ physical development, so they can avoid many of the health problems that inactive and sedentary lifestyles can cause later on in life.
